The Ordinary: Salicylic Acid | Review
A while back I posted an Ordinary skincare haul on my instagram with the promise of reviewing every item I picked up. The salicylic acid is first up for review and at just £4.20 for 30ml here’s what I thought:
How to use it:
Use in the AM and PM. Apply a small dot directly on spots for visible improvement or apply a small amount over the face to maintain visible clarity with continued use. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Do not rinse off.
What it says it does:
Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin. This 2% treatment solution helps exfoliate the inside walls of pores to fight the appearance of blemishes and for better visible skin clarity with continued use.
What I saw it do:
It definitely helped lessen redness around my spots as well as get rid of them quicker. I usually applied it at night after cleansing, exfoliating and toning my skin, but only directly on flared spots. I also put some of this on my younger brother’s back to see if it had any affect on his bacne, which in fact it did!
